The govt has called it, we’re getting free tol days!
All Malaysians who are traveling in private vehicles will enjoy tol free days starting Apr 8.
In a meeting with the Cabinet, the government agreed to waive toll fees on Apr 8 and Apr 9 in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The exemption will only be for class 1 vehicles, to start at 12.01am on Apr 8 (Monday) and to end at 11.59pm on Apr 9 (Tuesday).
This is thanks to a compensation costs by the government up to RM37.6 million. Toll exemptions will be granted at all toll plazas except at border toll plazas namely the Sultan Iskandar Building Toll Plaza and the Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza (Johor).
This mean traveling free back to hometowns for festivities!
