In response, a team of ten firefighters from the Damansara Fire and Rescue station was dispatched to the scene to provide assistance.

"The accident involved seven vehicles, including a Proton X70, Proton Saga, Toyota Camry, Mazda, Perodua Axia, and two Toyota Hilux," Ahmad Mukhlis stated in a press release.

The injured victim, who was trapped in the Toyota Camry, was successfully rescued by the firefighters. He was later handed over to the Health Ministry's medical team for further treatment.

The collision caused significant traffic congestion, with delays stretching nearly four kilometers along the affected route. Authorities are working to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
