Hate truly is poison.

An elderly Asian American Woman aged 65 years old became yet another victim of Asian hate when she was kicked so hard, the poor woman fell to the ground. Her attacker then continued to assault her by stomping on her head three times with such force, shouting "F--- you! You don't belong here!" before fleeing the scene. 

But perhaps the most sickening part about the incident was this:

the assault was taking place right outside an apartment building, in front of 360 West 43rd Street to be exact; where three of the employees were direct witnesses. However, all stood idly by and did absolutely nothing to rescue the woman. In the security footage, one of the men was even seen closing the entrance door, leaving the helpless victim all alone. 

The victim is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.

As difficult as it is to watch, we must do our part in amplifying the voices of the AAPI (Asian Americans And Pacific Islanders) community. Racism and hate crimes of any kind is a disease to a progressive society and we must not let hate win.
