As of late (2 May), posters of Kim Soo-hyun supposedly put-on-hold K-Drama surfaced on the internet leaving fans enraged.
Based on older reports, Kim Soo-hyun's new K-Drama 'Knock Off' alongside co-star Jo Bo-ah was reported to be released under Disney+ this year.
But with his ongoing scandal which first began in February, the show was indefinitely put on hold.
In a shocking turn of events though, about 3 days ago, new posters of the K-Drama was featured on IMDb's website. Debating legitimacy, some fans believed it to be official while others called fake.
However, recent reports are now saying that the images were indeed official and may appear like Disney+ is going ahead with it, mid and post controversy.
While the posters released has sparked celebration among supporters, a large group of critics have also directed negative energy towards Disney+.
Is this a tacit attempt to advance the show without directly addressing the actor's surrounding controversy?
The move has since raised questions about the platform's handling of the situation, its engagement with the ongoing narrative, and how the entire show will fair should they proceed.
