I‘m sure by now we’re already well-informed of the somewhat chilling, yet question-raising video uploaded on Anonymous Malaysia's Official Facebook Account. 

They also took to Twitter to announce the so-called #OpsWakeUp21.

This shines a light on the subject of cyber security and the protection of our data, or lack thereof. Despite the broken English and the somewhat poor video execution, they actually managed to get people to start paying more attention to the country's data security level. Doesn't this feel like we're in a near-apocalypse movie? I sure hope we get a fulfilling ending out of this. 

In the following days, we are about to see whether or not these hacktivists will live up to their threats and actually execute a full-on cyber attack on government websites. The cops are on full alert following the release of the #OpsWakeUp2021 video so it will certainly be interesting to see what will unfold in the next few days. Get your popcorn ready, folks.
