A German content creator has gone viral after sharing her astonishment at how tough Malaysia's RM1 banknote is.
Known as Dasha and currently living in Indonesia, she posted a video on Instagram where she tried to tear the blue RM1 note with her hands, but failed completely. Curious about its resilience, she even poured water on the note, only to find that it didn't absorb any moisture and stayed perfectly dry.
"Malaysia's Ringgit is too strong!" she exclaimed in disbelief.
The video quickly gained traction online, with many Malaysians commenting proudly about the strength and quality of their currency. The RM1 note, made from polymer, is designed to withstand both physical damage and exposure to water, a fact Dasha's video hilariously confirmed.
