Today, a 48-year-old woman (transliteration), You Meifeng, is said to have been slain by her husband during a furious dispute at their Simpang Pulai, Ipoh, house.

Oriental Daily reports that the horrific incident sadly occurred in front of their 12-year-old daughter and started at approximately 8:30 AM.

According to the deceased's relatives, You, her spouse, and their daughter had just arrived home after breakfast when the pair got into a fight.

The spouse allegedly grabbed something and hit You Meifeng in the head during the argument. She died instantly when he attacked her using a sharp weapon.

The victim's daughter was present for the entire event because she wasn't in school that day.

She called her relatives after the event, and her neighbors then called the police.

The spouse had a history of domestic abuse and a violent temper, according to the deceased's relatives. They disclosed that he often seized You's phone to keep her from getting in touch with her siblings.

The suspect is in custody while the police perform further investigations. After forensic investigators arrived on the scene to collect evidence, the victim's body was taken to the hospital morgue around 11:30 a.m. for an autopsy.

The objective of the authorities' ongoing inquiry into this unfortunate case is to learn all the details surrounding the tragedy.
