An ordinary firefighter, Chris Askew and his wife, Danielle, welcomed their fourth son, Dylan, on Jan 12.
However, his wife had a partial placenta abruption and Dylan was born two months premature (weighing only 4 pounds). Due to Dylan’s early arrival, he has to remain in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Then, Askew decided to do “something” to cheer everyone up while waiting for his son’s arrival home. Askew has posted his first dancing video with the hashtag #Dancing4Dylan, along with his promise to keep dancing until his son left the NICU.
Surprisingly, this video has received a very good response with over 400k views and messages saying how this video makes them smile and has brought out the positive attitude and vibes!
So, Askew decided to continue this dance challenge every day until his son left the NICU, and not just do it for his son, but for every child in the NICU!
“If I can make one person smile, then I feel it’s worth it,” Askew said.
Here are some of the #Dancing4Dylan video clips:

Updates: Baby Dylan has already gone home after spending 50 days in the hospital, but he's back in NICU not long ago, and Askew is back on his "mission". Let's hope baby Dylan will get well soon!
Asker also mentioned that "When this started, I really didn't have a mission for it or a plan," he shared. "But now I've seen that it helps people and makes them smile, so I'm going to spread that out as much as I can to everybody."
