KUALA LUMPUR, 17 August 2026 – Lalamove, a leading on-demand delivery platform, is bringing Merdeka cheer to Malaysians with its new campaign, “Sip, Sip, Lalamove”, offering free Tealive drinks delivered straight to their doors.
Starting 17 August, users can register for a chance to receive up to two Tealive Lychee Drinks from the National Day Edition. Free drinks are limited, so early registration is encouraged. The campaign is open to all new and existing Lalamove users in Malaysia, with one redemption per person.
Celebrating Local Pride
Timed to coincide with the Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations, the campaign marks Lalamove’s first initiative of its kind, partnering with homegrown brand Tealive to celebrate local pride.
“At Lalamove, we believe in celebrating the everyday moments that bring Malaysians together, and what better way to mark Merdeka than with a tribute to a beloved homegrown brand like Tealive,” said Jane Teh, Managing Director of Lalamove Malaysia.
“The ‘Sip, Sip, Lalamove’ campaign is our way of saying terima kasih to our community, rewarding their loyalty while making it effortless to support local businesses. It reflects our commitment to not just delivering convenience, but also connection and pride in what makes Malaysia special,” she added.
Each code entitles users to a bundle of two Merdeka-themed drinks: Lychee Osmanthus Jelly Tea and Lychee Osmanthus Jelly Milk Tea. The promotion is available at 24 participating Tealive outlets nationwide, including locations in Johor, the Klang Valley, Melaka, Penang and Kuching, all within Lalamove’s delivery coverage in Malaysia.
More Ways to Save
Beyond the free Tealive drinks, Lalamove users can also save on delivery costs during the Merdeka period. By using the code LA69MY, users can enjoy 39% off delivery orders made using Car, 4x4 Pickup, Van or Lorry services. The promotion is valid until 31 August 2026.
Get your code — Successful registrants will receive a unique code via email.
Place your order — On 1 September 2026, place a Lalamove pickup order during your assigned time slot and enter the code in the Driver Notes section. Orders without the code will not be eligible for the free drinks.
Collect — The assigned Lalamove driver will present the code at the selected Tealive outlet to collect the drinks.
As the drinks are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to daily outlet availability, early redemption is recommended.
