"WTF 11K?" Malaysians React To The Latest Covid-19 Cases, And They Did Not Hold Back

Tweets above depict a few of the reactions towards today‘s highest ever recorded Covid-19 cases in Malaysia— more than 11 K, to be precise. Many share a similar sentiment: "The government has failed."

Malaysia has been under total lockdown since the end of May and fast forward to more than a month later: nothing is yet to improve. In fact, it has been going deeper into the downhill with each passing day.

Threatened livelihood, health facilities on the brink of collapsing, the increasing number of suicide cases— all these and more have been the ugly reality that Malaysians are now forced to face. 

The question now is: will Malaysia ever get back on its feet, or are we nothing but a spectator about to witness the collapse of a nation?
