Chinese New Year has recently concluded, but many residents of Klang are now expressing their frustration over cleaning workers going door-to-door and shamelessly demanding ang pao. Some of these workers, including one man suspected to be Rohingya, dressed in the uniform of a waste management company, have been requesting red packets and knocking on doors, akin to debt collectors. 

The resident who filmed the incident confronted the man, asking for his identification and work permit. Despite being asked to leave, the cleaner persisted in soliciting at neighbouring houses, prompting many to demand his removal from the residential area. 

Netizens have reacted with sympathy for the worker seeking additional income during the festive season, while others view him as a nuisance and disruptive presence.
