#1. Don't Be Afraid To Consume Fats

Many people think that eating fat means that they will also grow fat. In fact, it depends on the type of fat you eat. The oil in fried foods is bad for our health. 

However, the healthy fats in fish, nuts and avocados can provide us with a lot of healthy nutrition. Besides, eating a moderate amount of fat can also help you lose weight!


#2. Reduce Your Sugar Intake 

Many people think that artificial sweeteners are good for our health because of their low-calorie content. In fact, artificial sweeteners are actually much sweeter than natural sugars and they will make you lose your sense of sweetness. Besides, they can negatively affect our intestinal health and metabolism.

Doctors also recommend that we should avoid chemicals such as saccharin, aspartame and acesulfame, which can be found in common artificial sweeteners. 

Low-fat or low-sugar foods sold in the market also contain high levels of sweeteners. Hence, when you want to eat sweet foods, it is recommended that you consume foods containing natural sugars, such as fruits.


#3. Listen To Your Body & Enjoy Your Food 

It takes time to understand what kind of food your body needs. If you have always wanted to eat sweet food, there must be a reason behind it. 

You can try to write down how you feel after eating different foods, such as how it affects your energy, mood, appetite, and others.

Meals are something you can enjoy. If you listen to your body and eat the food you like, then you are more easily to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 


#4.  Reduce Your Stress Levels

Our weight is affected by our stress level too. Stress will increase the cortisol level in your body. Cortisol can make you feel lazy, and grow your body fat. 

It is important to relax your body and mind every day, such as taking some time to calm yourself down, do what you like, and make sure you have enough sleep.


#5. Stop Counting Calories

Calculating calories is only effective for short term weight loss. Calculating calories will not help you maintain a healthy weight. 

In addition, many people who count calories ignore the nutrients in food, such as protein and fat. 

The key is to learn to understand your body, make yourself aware of how your body feels, eat if you are hungry, and stop when you are full.
