There Is A Link Between AstroZeneca Vaccine And Blood Clot Issues, EMA Officials Say

A recent development in the distribution of the AstraZeneca vaccine has revealed that there is a direct link between the coronavirus vaccine and the recent spike in blood clot issues among those who have taken the jab.

Senior officials of The European Medicine Agency (EMA) have released a statement saying that the rare blood clot syndrome has a "clear link with the vaccine", although causes are yet to be known. (source: The Guardian)

The situation has led to several countries halting the distribution of the Oxford-origin vaccine, including Brunei, Ireland, Australia, and several others.

If the AstraZeneca vaccine is scientifically proven to directly cause blood clots, this may mean that it is not suitable to be taken by young individuals, as the balance of risk is ‘slightly more complicated’ when younger people who are less vulnerable to the virus are considered.
