Private Education Institutions Ordered To Close Now Until 6th June

By Ayunie

All private education institutions registered under the Ministry of Education (MoE); are now ordered to close until 6th June.

This means face-to-face learning will now be replaced with home learning and teaching courses (PdPR) until further notice. The private education section of MoE has issued a letter announcing the closure of all Moe registered international schools, foreign schools, tuition centers, training centers, and language centers.

Teachers and educators are now ordered to implement home teaching and online classes accordingly. However, candidates who participated in international exams such as Cambridge International Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP), and equivalent qualification exams during this period can proceed to take the exam at their respective schools according to the original schedule.

In relation to that, they are all urged to strictly comply with SOPs to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
