The official website of the Air Pollutant Index of Malaysia (APIMS) reveals unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) levels in different areas across Malaysia such as Klang Valley, Petaling Jaya, Banting as well as some parts of Pahang.

According to ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre (ASMC), several nearby countries like Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and some parts of Indonesia are also affected by the haze.
"Elsewhere in the ASEAN region, wet conditions are forecast to persist except for Peninsular Malaysia where dry conditions are forecast." - ASMC
