Available for rental, Recreational Vehicles (RVs) could change the game for many Malaysians starting January next year.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Transport Minister Anthony Loke told Bernama that the action is intended to boost Malaysia's rapidly expanding RV-based tourism sector.
RVs would be permitted as self-drive tourist rental vehicles in Peninsular Malaysia and self-drive rental cars in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan under the new regulation, he said.
