It’s spooky season alright!
James Wan and his talent for horror has returned to our screens. This time on Netflix, he takes on true horror in this chilling docuseries, “True Haunting”.
Initial reviews are coming in and here’s what people are saying;
“The stories themselves sound like something you’d hear whispered at 2 a.m. creepy, mysterious and just believable enough to drive home the fear. But what makes True Haunting stand out from the flood of ghost-hunting shows online is the cinematic quality. This isnt shaky camera footage and grainy night vision. Every shot feels carefully composed.”
So what is it truly about?
“True Haunting” is a paranormal series about actual hauntings as reported by their survivors.
Throughout its five episodes, Wan executive producer, explores two unearthly stories: "Eerie Hall," which centres on a college student who is plagued by a ghost connected to his past and “This House Murdered Me”, the narrative of a family haunted by otherworldly beings while remodelling their Victorian home.
However, a huge thing that may interest James Wan fans is a special appearance from two of his favourite people; Ed & Lorraine Warren.
Demonologists and paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were portrayed by Wan in the Conjuring horror movie series, are also featured in the series.
How cool!
If you’ve not watched the series, it’s perfect for a weekend binge.
