A viral video has recently circulated on social media, showing firefighters from the Bomba (Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department) rescuing an elderly individual who had fallen into a sizable drain.

While the firefighters successfully carried out the rescue operation and ensured the person's safety, a man in the crowd was observed attempting to film the incident.
Disturbingly, he seemed to find the situation humorous and was heard making jokes, such as "How could someone fall into the drain like that?" This behaviour has understandably angered netizens, who find it insensitive to trivialize such a serious incident with laughter and jest.
