Based on a video gone viral recently, a Singaporean woman was confronted from racism.
The video was released by famous Singaporean influencer Preeti Nair. She wanted to share with her audience what her brother went through.
Preeti's brother was standing behind a teen boy, with his mother near him. Then the woman proceeds to continually tell her son 'there's a ghost behind you'.
All Preeti's brother was doing, was standing.
The woman repeated the statement, and Preeti's brother decided to question her.
Instead of responding, she evaded his question and urged her son to live.
The teen however, decided to stay back and listen to what Preeti's brother had to say before apologizing to him for his mother's behavior. He acknowledged that her comments were insensitive and inappropriate.
The video garnered many reactions from netizens, some commending Preeti's brother for standing up to the woman, and others commending the woman's son for doing what was right, where his mother wasn't.
