A recent Twitter post has gone viral, featuring a video of a woman accused of stealing a handbag from a luxury brand outlet.

What caught the attention of netizens was the original post, which aimed to warn the public to be cautious if they come across this woman at any of their local retail shops.

"To all retail shops, beware of this woman if you see her passing by your store. Her outfit is like this and she carries a red bag," the tweet read.

"Yesterday she stole a bag. Whether you are old or young, if you mess with me, I will mess with you," it continued.

In the video, a woman wearing a face mask and a blue headscarf can be seen arguing with two staff members of the boutique.

She was reportedly caught with the handbag while carrying a grocery cart inside the store.

"You have an attitude. Who are you in this store?" she can be heard saying in the video.

Despite the woman's behaviour, the two boutique staff members remained calm in dealing with the situation.

The staff member explained on Twitter that even though the woman eventually paid for the stolen item, she was not allowed to walk away with it freely as it had already become a case of theft.

He also claimed that the woman had committed the same modus operandi at two other popular shopping centres around the Damansara area.

During a recent encounter at Aeon, she was observed purchasing both chicken and dry goods. However, at the checkout counter, she only scanned the dry goods and did not scan the chicken. It was later discovered that she had placed the chicken in a red bag. This raises questions about whether the woman had stolen not only a wallet but other items as well.

Although the original post has since been deleted, it is crucial to be mindful of our belongings and surroundings, especially when shopping at high-end stores.

Theft can happen to anyone, and it is always better to stay alert and vigilant to avoid becoming a victim.
