Are you vacay ready for 2025, because in our minds, we're already chilling on a beach in Thailand.

Living in a multinational country takes the cake each time, because tell us why we have EIGHT long weekends in 2025?!

Which means this is your chance to go on all them long holidays, without having them touch your annual leave. 


Here are the dates you may want to take note of come 2025!

1. Hari Raya Puasa - March 29 till April 1 (Saturday to Tuesday)

2. Good Friday - April 18 till 20 (Friday to Sunday) *For Sabah & Sarawak only

3. Wesak Day - May 10 till 12 (Saturday to Monday)

4. Agong's Birthday - May 31 till June 2 (Saturday to Monday)

5. Awal Muharram - June 27 till 29 (Friday to Sunday) *Kedah also has June 29 off

6. National Day - August 30 till September 1 (Saturday to Monday) *September 1 is a holiday for all peninsula states except Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu; Johor also observes this holiday

7. Prophet Muhammad's Birthday - September 5 till 7 (Friday to Sunday) *Kedah also has September 7 off

8. Deepavali - October 18 till 20 (Saturday to Monday) *October 20 is a holiday for all states except Sarawak

Then, use some annual leaves and create LONGER weekends!

1. New Year's - January 1 till 5 (Wednesday to Sunday)

Plan: Take leave on January 2 and January 3 *January 1 is a holiday in all states except Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Perlis, and Terengganu

2. Chinese New Year - January 29 till February 2 (Wednesday to Sunday)

Plan: Take leave on January 31

3. Thaipusam - February 8 till 11 (Saturday to Tuesday)

Plan: Take leave on February 10 *Only for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Penang, and Selangor

4. Nuzul al-Quran - March 15 till 18 (Saturday to Tuesday)

Plan: Take leave on March 17 *March 18 is a holiday in all states except Johor, Kedah, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, and Sarawak

5. Labour Day - May 1 till May 4 (Thursday to Sunday)

Plan: Take leave on May 2

6. Malaysia Day - September 13 till 16 (Saturday to Tuesday)

Plan: Take leave on September 15

7. Christmas - December 25 till 28 (Thursday to Sunday)

Plan: Take leave on December 29 *Sabah residents also enjoy Christmas Eve, December 24 off
