Encountering a famous person casually is a rare occurrence for most of us. However, a lucky Malaysian recently had such an experience while riding the escalator at Pavilion KL.
From a distance, she spotted the renowned Steve Aoki dining with friends at Madam Kwan's restaurant. Despite the temptation to request a selfie with the artist, she opted not to, fearing it might intrude on his private time and attract unwanted attention.
Some netizens expressed scepticism about whether it was really him and questioned his presence there. For those unaware, Steve Aoki was the main headliner at this year's Out Of The World music and water festival held last weekend at KL Bas Sungai Besi.
This marked his return to Malaysia after nearly a decade since his last performance in 2014.
