WATCH: Korean Woman ’Trapped’ By M’sian Food Thanks To Her Boyfriend

What started as a simple meal quickly turned into a full-blown love affair with Malaysian food – and a Korean woman on TikTok is hilariously blaming her boyfriend for it.

In a video shared by @kimandwong, the woman joked that she thought she was only going out for one meal, only to realise she had unknowingly fallen into what she calls a "Malaysian food trap." From rich curries to comforting local dishes, one taste was all it took for her to be completely hooked.

The clip captures her amused disbelief as she admits she can no longer escape the pull of Malaysian cuisine, all thanks to her boyfriend's influence. What was meant to be a casual introduction quickly turned into repeated food hunts and cravings she didn't see coming.

Viewers found the moment both relatable and entertaining, with many Malaysians proudly welcoming her to the club. After all, once you've been introduced to local food, there's usually no turning back – and most would agree its the best kind of "trap" to fall into.
