2 Killed, Lorry Driver Tested Positive For Drugs Following MRR2 Bridge Collapse

What would have been a normal day turned bloody after a trailer lorry collided into the scaffolding of the pedestrian bridge located MRR2 Highway near Bandar Tasik Selatan.

The impact caused the bridge—still under construction— to collapse on a factory van, trapping five people. The rescue ended around 9:30 PM last night after the last victim was extracted. Unfortunately, two of them did not survive. 


Upon investigation, the lorry driver was found to be tested positive for drugs and has since been reprimanded.
