Seeking love may be quite challenging, and going on several dates can surely dampen your mood in the hopes of finding the one.

This Malaysian called Yih Zhi struggled in her previous relationship owing to her rigorous schedule of managing her business and clashing beliefs and ideas in life.

The same goes for Zi Guo, a Chinese citizen who was going through a difficult time and opted to end his marriage.

They each have tried internet dating, but there was very little success. Being business owners, they both agreed that given their hectic schedules, it was better to let a professional matchmaker find them love.

Dateworks is a local dating agency launched in 2017 by Joanne Ng that helped Zi Guo and Yih Zhi in connecting. 

Joanne's matchmaking team assisted the couple in understanding how healthy relationships work and how to grow themselves as individuals in order to have empathy for their partner.

After six months of dating, Zi Guo and Yih Zhi have taken the next step in their love by getting engaged to be married.
