The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collab with the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), just launched the Amazing Dark Sky in Thailand Season 4, and you know what that means... more stargazing fun!
Based on reports, 16 new dark sky conservation areas across the country have been introduced, offering you opportunities to experience the best of Thailand's night skies.
Stargazing has been an evergreen trend, and is especially popular among astronomy enthusiasts, nature lovers, campers, and outdoor adventurers. It creates grand you + nature vibes.
Besides tourism, one of the aims of this initiative is to raise awareness about light pollution, promote energy conservation, and encourage responsible lighting practices.
Over the past 3 years, 48 locations across Thailand have been designated as official dark sky conservation areas.
