PETALING JAYA - Because of a decorative wood, also known as driftwood, for his aquarium, a man has contracted a mysterious disease that infected his whole body with boils that smell like poop.
On his Facebook page, the victim, identified as Amert Ramli, said the driftwood he had bought earlier was natural wood from the forest and not wood recycled by a carpenter.
According to Amert, because it originated in the forest, he did not know that the wood belonged to a supernatural being and it had a guardian.
Following the incident, Amert was attacked by a mysterious disease similar to Herpes, HIV or shingles all over his body.
“The boils I got were all over my body. It spread in a short time, itching madly at midnight, caused by a supernatural creature called Hantu Galah (or some places call Hantu Panjang).
To make matters worse, said Amert, my body is full of toxins, making my whole-body dark and the dry skin will flake off like scales in addition to having difficulty defecating for five days.
Amert said that before this, he also met with some doctors and modern medical specialists and took some medicine, but unfortunately all of them did not work.
However, Amert said, his condition is now improving after meeting with two practitioners of traditional Islamic medicine.
He stated that he will be disposing the driftwood in the next few days.
