What is cellulite? 

Known otherwise as tiger stripes, cellulite is dimpled skin commonly developed around thighs and glute areas, and sometimes even knees. 


What causes it?
it is caused by the buildup of fat underneath the skin.


How to get rid of it?
Well, you can't. However, you can reduce its appearance. Here's how: 



1. Dry Brushing

Dry brushing is a type of external skin exfoliation that helps to reveal smoother, softer skin. While there's no solid evidence that dry brushing can eliminate cellulite, the practice does improve skin texture by removing the dead layers and in time, reducing the appearance of cellulite. 


2. Certain Muscle-Focused Exercises

If you have cellulite around your thighs and buttock area, performing leg and glute exercises on a regular basis may reduce its appearance. Some of the workouts that you can do include:

• Squats 

• Jump Squats 

• Side Lunges 

• Leg Kickbacks


Be sure to increase the frequency as you get stronger to see results. 


3. Changes To Your Lifestyle

Cellulite is natural in a way that we cannot fully eliminate once we've developed them, and that it comes with age. However, certain life habits can help with its prevention.  Although we cannot turn back time, we can still watch what we eat and do in order not to contribute to the forming of cellulite such as:

• Improving muscle elasticity by exercising regularly

• Practice nutritional diet

• Or, if it really bothers you, get laser therapy.
