Malaysia has been ranked the 4th most welcoming country for international tourists in 2022, beating countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, UK and more!

These are quantified by Arton Capital in its Welcoming Countries Rank, and its 2022 list offers some fascinating insights on the state of global mobility at the moment. Every time a new visa waiver or adjustment is made, the ranking is immediately updated so you know that the list is accurate down to a T. 

The countries included in these ranks are rated according to the number of passports they accept for visa-free travel, visa on arrival, or electronic travel authorization. That being said, we're also currently ranked the 9th most powerful passport in the world, ahead of countries like Turkey, Qatar, China, and more.
