Life is a magician. It always offers us something we might or might not expect. We might not be able to choose what is given in our lives, yet we can definitely live a joyful life in our ways. Here are some tips and tricks that you can try on to live happily!


1. Smile at yourself right after waking up.

It is sad but true that more than 150,000 people in this world die every day due to a lot of factors. Hence, do not forget to smile at yourself after you wake up and take your first breath in the mornings. It is a way to celebrate the fact that you are still alive! Give yourself a big smile and start your day with a positive vibe every morning!

2. Shout out your love to the whole world.

To live a joyful life, you should first develop unlimited love from the heart and deep of the soul. Love could solve all the problems in this world. When you start to love everything in this world, the world will reward you in the same way. So, try to speak out ‘I love you’ to everything surrounds you. It is okay to whisper in your mind only if you are an introvert person. It does not diminish the power of love. 

Love yourself, love your family, love your pets, love your car, love your food, love your water, and finally, love the world.

3. Do something challenging.

Instead of just waiting for life to bring you surprises, you can now give a surprise for yourself! Keep your body, mind and soul awake by doing something challenging randomly. Do public speaking, go for rock climbing, work on the 1000 pieces of the puzzle or anything you think it is challenging for you. You might feel afraid and insecure when you are doing. Yet, the sense of fulfilment and self-satisfactoriness after stepping out from the comfort zone is going to fill your life for a long time. 

Dare to change and challenge yourself! You won’t regret that!

4. Be an observer when you have negative emotions.

When things are not going well, it’s easy for us to dwell in negativity. At this point, you can try to be a pure observer. Stay still and silent, focus on observing the origin, progression and the terminus of the negativity. Being a pure observer means do not add your thought and exaggerate the feeling or emotions. Slowly, you can realize the negativity has left your body, mind and soul little by little under your observation. Now, you can concentrate on finding solutions for the problems.

5. Empty your mind before sleeping.

At night, leave your work and stay away from your electronic devices at least one metre preferably 30 minutes before going to bed. You might take five minutes to have some self-reflection on the day you have spent. Afterwards, slowly waive all the thoughts in your mind by staring at a place. Close your eyes and use your senses to feel and enjoy everything around you. Remember to deactivate your brain and do not add any thought inside. Now, you can have quiet time to rest and enjoy a high-quality sleeping.
