Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam, Malaysia's school student—who gained international recognition for her magnificent fight against normalized rape culture in Malaysia— has been sued by Khairul Nizam bin Sanuddin, her former physical education teacher from SMK Puncak Alam. 

The educator has filed for a writ of summon against Ain on the account of defamation, citing that Ain's content on TikTok as well as her other statements that followed had vilified his character, despite her never mentioning his actual name. 

In his defense, Khaiful claims that he was merely lecturing his students on sexual education as well as laws that usually apply to sexual misconduct. However, Ain's defamatory statements had made him seem like a “sex-crazed" addict. 

Regarding these defamation claims, this is the first time that the teacher's name has publicly been named. What will be Ain's next move? Stay tuned for updates.
