If you still haven't paid all your pending summons yet, you haven't run out of time! The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has announced the extension of the 80% offer period on the payment of summons through the traffic branch counter until 31st December 2021. That's about more than two weeks left!

The matter was informed by the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.  "The public can go to all traffic counters nationwide starting December 9th."

This implementation is also made to avoid any unnecessary crowd at the summons counter at the Malaysian Family Aspirations 100 Day Program (AKM), Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC).  "This initiative can indirectly help reduce the burden of the community affected by the Covid -19 pandemic," he continued. 

As of 12th December 2021, PDRM reported that a total of 2.3 million traffic summonses have been successfully resolved with a total of RM109 million in the span of four days.
