Pictures of the murder scene at Jalan Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur went viral on social media. Yes, you heard it right. This case that was being investigated as a murder, involved two taxi drivers, the suspect, a 65-year-old man and the victim, a 61-year-old man.
This incident happened when one of them jumped the queue while the other one was waiting to fill up on the liquified natural gas. They started to fight after exchanging a few words. The deceased was pushed to the ground, thus causing the injury of his head that killed him on the spot.
According to The Star, the pictures that went viral captured both men, one was in a white shirt, drenched in blood while the other one was lying on the ground, covered with a white cloth.
This case will be investigated and statements will be taken from witnesses at the scene.
Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon, the OCPD Asst Comm. of Cheras mentioned in another report by The Star that this incident happened on 11 February, at around 11.30 am.
"We received a distress call and dispatched a police team to the scene. Investigation officers and personnel from the city police forensic unit found the victim lying motionless at the scene," he added.
He further disclosed that the body of the deceased had been sent to the Canselor Tuanku Mukhriz Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
