A restaurant owner in Kulim, Kedah, has voiced frustration after a customer brazenly left without paying for his meal and takeaway items.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, was highlighted by Kulim TV on Facebook, complete with CCTV footage. The post has since attracted significant public attention.
"Business owners will go bankrupt if incidents like this happen often", read the caption accompanying the video.
The footage captured a man packing fried chicken into his motorcycle basket before sitting down to eat a plate of food at the restaurant. Before departing, he ordered four drinks to-go, which he placed in his motorcycle without settling the bill.
Throughout the incident, the man appeared cautious, frequently scanning his surroundings to ensure he was not being watched.
"This is a headache for business owners who have to bear the losses. Its unfair to the hardworking vendors", the post further stated.
