Forgot your wallet when you go out? Don't worry! Now Maybank has launched a super convenient "Cardless Withdrawal Service"! Just scan the QR code of the ATM with the MAE APP, and you can easily withdraw money!

According to a statement published on Maybank's official website, ATM Cash-out function means that users no longer need to carry an ATM card when they go to an ATM to withdraw money, but only need to carry a mobile phone. Before using the ATM Cash-out function, users need to activate this function in the MAE APP.

How to activate ATM Cash-out service in MAE APP

Step 1: Launch MAE APP and click Manage.

Step 2: Select and add ATM Cash-out in Quick Actions.

Step 3: Then select ATM Cash-out on the MAE APP homepage.

Step 4: Enter the password.

Step 5: Agree to the terms and conditions.

Step 6: Enter the received OTP.

Step 7: Done.  You will be able to use ATM Cash-out in 24 hours.

How to use ATM Cash-out at ATM

Step 1: After reaching the ATM, open the MAE APP and select Scan.

Step 2: Scan the QR code that appears on the ATM screen.

Step 3: Confirm your log in to MAE APP on your phone.

Step 4: Enter the amount to be withdrawn.

Step 5: Select the account to withdraw funds.

Step 6: Wait for the ATM to process your withdrawal.

Step 7: Collect your cash at the ATM.

CEO of Maybank said that the introduction of the contactless withdrawal service is also driven by the banks efforts to keep its customers safe, as customers would not need to touch any external surfaces physically except to take the cash dispensed from the ATM.
