KTMB To Resume Their Operation Starting 14th October, So You Can Start Booking Your Ticket!

Starting October 14th, Malayan Railways Limited or Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTM) will be resuming its operation and increasing frequency for ETS and KTM Intercity services following the interstate travel relaxation announcement made by PM Ismail Sabri on 10th October.

Ticket sales will start at 3 PM today onwards, and KTM is offering an RM5 discount for the first 10,000 passengers for the purchase of tickets priced at RM40 and above with the promo code BOLEHRENTAS, valid from 14 to 24 October 2021.

The routes are as follows:

• Gemas - Padang Besar

• KL Sentral - Ipoh

• Gemas - Butterworth

• Gemas - Johor Bahru Sentral 

• Tumpat – Johor Bahru Sentral 

• Kuala Lipis-Tumpat 


and vice versa.

Other things you need to know:

• Only fully vaccinated individuals allowed on board

• Passengers need to show a digital certificate on the MySejahtera app or a Covid-19 vaccination card as proof

• Passengers must arrive at the station at least an hour prior to their travel time for documentation and body temperature checks

• Constant monitoring Monitoring by KTMB Auxiliary Police personnel will be done at all stations and on trains
