Before taking a bite to eat, he is seen pulling out his identification card and laying it on top of his forehead so that everyone, especially the authorities, who are Muslim and fasting, will be aware that he is not a Malay and should not be bothered while eating.

As if that weren't enough, Darren also pulled a rosary out of his bag and is seen holding it while taking a sip of his drink.
