Datuk Hattan is making rounds on social media, but it's not for good reasons.
The legendary singer recently appeared on Astro AWANI's live broadcast, where he was interviewed by the newsreader on rock band XPDC's lyrics and history.
The interaction, however, quickly turned sour after Hattan alleged the newsreader of not doing proper research prior to the broadcast.
The flustered newsreader then proceeded to the next question, but again received the same unpleasant responses by Hattan.
He called her out by asking, "Didn't you do your homework? What is this? Get someone else who knows better to interview me instead?".
His demeanour has prompted angry responses by media group, with many urging him to apologize to the newsreader. Hattan instead chose not to clarify the controversy and has resorted to silence.
Apparently, his Instagram account is now on private mode.
