Unboxing & First Impression Of The ALL-NEW Samsung A33 5G: Is It Worth Buying?

Samsung has just recently launched their newest additions to the Samsung Galaxy A series, one of which is the Samsung A33 5G. Compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A32 which was released the previous year, Samsung A33 5G offers fresher designs, upgraded internals, significant performance boost, and more, all while still maintaining an affordable price point. Let's look at this phone's key features:

Key Features:

+ Water & Dust Resistant

+ FHD+ sAMOLED 90Hz Display

+ OIS Camera

+ 2 Days Battery

Based on the key features of the Samsung A33 5G, it does promise an all-around modern Samsung experience, and for those looking for an upgrade from their current mid-range smartphone, this could be one of your highly considerable options. We've got the Samsung A33 5G in peach on hand, and here's our first impression review:

Display & Design:

+ Dustproof and waterproof (IP7 rating)

+ Comes in four different colors (white, black, peach, and blue)

+ Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen

Once you hold it in your hand, you'll immediately notice that it has a sleek feel to it, almost velvety-like. Its matte finish does give it that expensive look, and if aesthetics is one of your priorities, you'll be pleased with the design of the Samsung A33 5G. Around its edges, you'll find the power button, the volume rocker, and the USB-C port, and it is worth noting that Samsung A33 5G is not equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike its predecessor.

It comes in a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and up to 90Hz refresh rate, so if you enjoy watching Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon, etc on your phone, you'd greatly appreciate Samsung A33 5G's vibrant display.

Specs & Performance:

+ Exynos 1280 chipset

+ 6GB RAM, 128GB storage

+ microSD up to 1TB

With Exynos 1280 chipset built-in, Samsung A33 5G is equipped with expandable storage on top of the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For day-to-day use, there's nothing to complain about here. Decent speed when it comes to navigating in between apps, and if you're into mobile games, Samsung A33 5G performs well in terms of that, too.

Cameras & Battery Life:

+ 5000mAh battery capacity, 25W wired charging

+ Quad camera system (48.0 MP + 8.0 MP + 5.0 MP + 2.0 MP)

+ Plenty of AR filters built into the camera app

Samsung A33 5G comes with four sensors on the rear along with a 13-megapixel unit on the front. Specifically, it comprises an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 48-megapixel main, 2-megapixel depth, and 5-megapixel macro sensors. If you like taking selfies with filters, Samsung A33 5G has an array of different AR filters for you to play around with on their camera app.

Overall Verdict:

For a mid-range phone, Samsung A33 5G definitely packs a punch. With an attractive design, a good camera system, and splendid battery life, if convenience and performance with an affordable price tag sound like your dream phone, then getting the Samsung A33 5G would definitely be a choice you wouldn't regret.
