Looks like the Tokyo 2020's Olympics' journey ends here for Lee Zii Jia when he finally lost to the Olympic reigning champion, Chen Long from China.

With the score of 21-8, 19-21, 5-21 he had no choice but to hand over the throne to Chen Long. His overall achievement in the Tokyo 2020's Olympics is not to be undermined, however. After beating Brice Leverdez (who had defeated Lee Chong Wei before!) in just under 35 minutes, and practically berated every opponent leading up to his last match (anyone remembers his famous backhand smash?), we say Lee Zii Jia deserves every recognition and more.

Despite his hand injury, he persevered and delivered an excellent performance, especially during the second round. He may have lost in the quarter-finals but to all Malaysians, he has done more than enough to make this nation proud!
