Nur Sajat is living her best life & we’re here for it!
Besides a judgement-free day-to-day in Australia, M’sian entrepreneur Nur Sajat has also been preparing for an upcoming pageant!
She will be apart of the 2024 Mardi Grad International Queen (MaGIQ) pageant happening later this week. The pageant is an annual transgender beauty pageant organised by the Filipino Lesbians and Gays Community (FLAGCOM) and Friends.
The finals is to take place tomorrow, 24 Feb, and the winner will be paraded at the Sydney Mardi Gras parade.
There will also be a segment where contestants show off their national costumes to represent where they come from, and Sajat has one too!
She recently took to Instagram a sneek preview of her golden national costume inspired by Langkasuka, the ancient Kedahan Kingdom.
The fit has batik elements and gold jewellery, including a headgear. In another post she also showed a BTS look at her photoshoot for the pageant.
With tons of support from M’sian fans, we too are excited to see Nur Sajat in the finals. Here’s to bringing back gold!
