According to a viral tweet, there is actually methods to searching something up on google, that many do not know about. Here are 7 tips stated that you can use, in the spirits of actually doing it right.

#1 Open-Close Quotation Marks
Putting quotation marks around the terms you want to search, would help you get exactly what you want. For instance, "black hill", instead of everything that contains black and hill.
#2 Dashes
Using a hyphen in your searches, will exclude that term from your search, and focus on what comes after. For instance, Nevertheless-Kdrama would show you the South Korean drama called 'Nevertheless', and not everything with the term nevertheless.
#3 Tilde
For synonyms, using tilde or ~ would help you locate all the same/similar terms you're searching on. For instance, searching piano ~classes, would result in searches which contain classes, searches, coaching so on and so forth.
#4 Website
If you intend to look up something only from a certain website, then typing in Spiderman site: marvel.com would result in everything to do with Spiderman from the website marvel dot com.
#5 Vertical Bar
Number 5 on the list is using a vertical bar ( | ). This element serves as an 'or'. For instance, searching something with ebay | amazon, would give you results on both those e-commerce sites.
#6 Two Periods
To search up something between a certain period of time, for instance, looking up a certain event from the years 1996..2000. Your results would bring up everything to do with said event, during those years.
#7 Location
An easy one, googling something by adding the location of where you'd like to narrow it down to. For instance, Mahyuddin Yassin location: Malaysia.
