A survey by Jobstreet and Jobsdb by Seek, highlighted how unhappy employees are at work based on country, and here’s the list.
1. Singapore (19% unhappy)
2. Malaysia (12% unhappy)
3. Philippines (11% unhappy)
4. Hong Kong (9% unhappy)
5. Thailand (9% unhappy)
6. Indonesia (4% unhappy)
The survey was done with over 5,000 workers across SEA.
53% of participants in Singapore mentioned that the inadequate salary and benefits are the causes of their unhappiness. Other than that is a lack of recognition and a lack of career advancement opportunities.
A disappointing list for sure.
