Real Stories, Real Triumphs: Grab #SisBoleh Shines A Spotlight On Women In Sports

22-Dec-2025
By GMYP

Women’s football in Malaysia is on the rise, and Grab Malaysia is proud to be part of the momentum. As the official partner of the Liga Wanita Nasional (LWN), Grab is extending its long-standing commitment to women’s empowerment through the #SisBoleh initiative, now shining a spotlight on the inspiring journeys of Malaysian women athletes.

As part of this collaboration, Grab Malaysia has launched a mini-podcast series featuring some of the nation’s top female sporting talents. Hosted by Steffi Sarge Kaur (Steffi Sidhu), a national football player, the series offers candid conversations with athletes who have redefined excellence and thrived in their respective sports.

The mini-podcast features inspiring conversations with three of Malaysia’s accomplished women athletes: Pandalela Rinong, a celebrated diving champion; Syaidatul Afifah, a standout bowling star; and Aimi Iwasaki, a dedicated triathlete.

In each episode, listeners gain unfiltered insights into the athletes’ personal journeys, the expectations they rise to, and the milestones they’ve achieved along the way. These stories of resilience echo the determination seen within the broader Grab community, including women driver- and delivery-partners who embody the same spirit of perseverance and empowerment.

The Grab #SisBoleh initiative has already made waves this year, including:

- Aisya Rahman x #SisBoleh Kuasai Kewangan – engaging workshops and mini content on financial literacy

- #SisBoleh Untold Stories – spotlighting real stories of Grab women driver- and delivery-partners overcoming challenges and thriving

By sharing the journeys of these national athletes, Grab Malaysia continues to champion women not only in sports but in all aspects of life. The podcast serves as a platform to inspire, mentor, and empower women to pursue their dreams and uplift those around them.

Don’t miss out on supporting Liga Wanita Nasional — catch the Final Match on December 27 and 28, 2025, live via LWN YouTube.
