A grab driver, shared his experience when a customer tipped him RM500 by accident.
The story which was uploaded on GrabFood Rider Malaysia; a group on Facebook, garnered the support and praise of many, when he told his story.
Based on the rider, he was delivering food to an elderly woman, upon the instructions of her daughter. When he gave her the food, she gave him RM500 cash.
When the rider asked her, she said it was to pay for the food. The rider then told her that the bill was already settled, but she seemed unfazed by this, and just walked back into her home.
The rider was concerned, so he contacted her daughter through the Grab app, and told her the story, as well as how he left the RM500 in their mailbox.
Netizens commended the rider on his honesty, and not taking advantage of the old lady.
