The 45-second TikTok clip showed the worker seated in the driver's seat with no steering wheel in front of him. But instead of panicking or giving up, he came up with an inventive fix using a pair of pliers to steer the car. By latching the pliers onto the bolt in the center of the missing steering wheel, he carefully directed the car onto the platform of a tow truck.
Once the Myvi was secured on the truck, the video panned across the vehicle's interior, revealing signs of damage. The driver's side window had been smashed, with broken glass scattered across the floorboard and A-pillar.
In the comment section, the worker explained that the incident happened at a hospital in Kota Bahru. The vehicle owner had parked the car there while at work, only to return and discover it in a damaged state and without a steering wheel.
In a lighthearted caption, the worker jokingly wrote, "Which animal stole my steering wheel? You better confess," calling out the unknown thief.
The clip quickly gained attention, with many viewers praising the worker's ingenuity. One even called it a "DIY video," to which the original poster cheekily replied, "Can even use your teeth if needed."
This viral moment not only highlighted the creativity of everyday workers but also sparked laughs and admiration across social media for turning a bizarre situation into a display of resourcefulness.
