Worried you might have a stalker on Instagram? There might be a few subtle ways you can discover that for yourself. 

Once you're able to detect your stalkers, you can either block them or hide your stories from them, whichever you feel more comfortable with. Instagram has also introduced a new feature where you can block a person's Instagram account and other new accounts they might create, which is pretty cool. 

1. Post stories often

Your Instagram profile will need to be public for this, if it isn't already. One sure way of "discovering your stalker is by frequently posting stories and make it a reminder to check for IG story viewers. If you do have stalkers watching your every move, you'll most likely notice a couple of odd ones from the list— usually, those that watch your stories every day yet they don't follow you, those with peculiar usernames, private profiles, and zero posts, etc etc. 

2. Pay Attention To The profiles That Show Up At The Top 

The Instagram algorithm suggests that people who show up on the top of your viewer's list are the ones that interact with you the most on Instagram. While this may not seem helpful because some of those people might already be your friends that you happen to talk to on a regular basis, but if someone other than your friend frequently watches your profile, they're bound to show up on the top of the list too. Bonus point if they're not following you.

3.  Download Instagram analytics apps.

Apps like Followers Insight and Follower Analyzer help you monitor your followers on Instagram in a way that they help you keep track of all those people who follow, unfollow, or blocked you on Instagram, and they also tell you who views your Instagram account.
