Local artist Kamwei Fong has just proved the slogan ‘Malaysia Boleh’ once again to be true as he teams up with Japanese fashion retailer for cat-themed T-shirt collection.

“This collaboration is considered another great achievement added to my career as an artist,” Fong told Malay Mail.

According to the news portal, Fong joins three other illustrators for the collection. They are Tiffany Cooper (Parisian author), Izuru Aminaka (Japanese artist) and  Marie Ahfeldt (Stockholm-based graphic designer).

The T-shirt collection “Cats are Purrfect” was launched in June in Malaysia, and is already available in other countries like Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Spain, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Vietnam. It will also be selling in many more countries in the future.

The bushy-tailed Kitty No. 25 is Fong’s series of furry kitties called The Furry Thing that makes appearance in the Uniqlo collection.

Well, isn’t the cat adorable? If you like Fong’s art too, don’t forget to check out his Instagram page.
