5 Recommended Korean Pancake To Try At Home

When it comes to Korean pancakes, I believe many people would think of Kimchi pancake. However, there are other Korean pancakes. You definitely could try to make it at home as long as you have flour and other necessary ingredients. Let's have a look at other types of Korean pancakes in this article!

Seafood Onion Pancake

Ingredient: shrimp, squid, 2 eggs, pepper, 1 bunch of green onions, 1 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt

1. Cut green onions into sections. Chop seafood and cut pepper diagonally.

2. Cook the seafood quickly and leave the water cool. 

4. Add the green onions, eggs, seafood, and water (that we left cool just now) to the flour and mix well.

5. Heat the oil in the pan. Put the batter in the pot and finally add the pepper and salt. Fry it until golden on both sides. 

Potato Pancake

Ingredient: 2 potatoes, 2 scoops of corn starch, 1 scoop of cooking oil, 1/4 onion, a little salt

1. Peel and grind potatoes. After that, filter the potatoes with water. Then, grind the onions.

2. Add mashed potatoes and onion puree to starch. Mix them well with some salt. 

3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Take a spoonful of batter and put it in the pan to fry until golden on both sides. 

Cabbage Pancake

Ingredient: 6 Chinese cabbage, 50g corn starch, 150g flour, a little salt 

1. Wash the Chinese cabbage and drain it for use. 

2. Add a little salt to the corn starch and flour. Pour the appropriate amount of cold water into a batter. 

3.  Flatten the stalk of the Chinese cabbage slightly and evenly dip it in the batter. 

4. Heat the oil in the pan and put the cabbage covered with batter into the frying pan until golden on both sides. 

Hongxi Mushroom Pancake

Ingredient: Hongxi mushroom, 1/2 green onion, 2 eggs, salt, pepper

1. Wash and pluck the Hongxi mushroom. Put it in the boiling water and boil it for about 30 seconds. Remove the water and squeeze out the water. 

2. Chop green onion and add it to the Hongxi mushroom. Add in the eggs and stir with a little salt as well as black pepper. 

3. Put the oil in the pot and heat it. Put in Hongxi mushroom and fry until golden on both sides. 

Corn Pancake

Ingredient: 290g canned corn, 50g water, fried powder, 40g edible oil, 2 spoons of evaporated milk, 20g cheese powder

1. Drain the water in the canned corn. Add fried powder and water to mix well with the canned corn.

2. Put oil in the pan and heat it. Put in the batter and fry until golden on both sides. 

3. The fried corn pancake is sprinkled with cheese powder and evaporated milk.
