After an incredible game between Malaysia’s Aaron Chia-Wooi Yik and China’s Li Junhui-Liu Yuchen, Malaysia’s team will not be heading to the Tokyo 2020's Olympics Badminton Doubles’ finals. 

The 38-minute game ended with Chia and Soh losing to China’s team with a score of 22-24, 13-21.

The duo qualified for the semi-finals after stunningly crushing their nemeses Kevin Sanjaya-Marcus Fenaldi of Indonesia for the first time in their eighth attempt with a score of 21-14, 21-17.

They will still be going up against the Indonesia pair they lost to ealier in their group game for the bronze medal. 

Win or lose, we, Malaysians are super proud of them for trying their best!
